Service Terms

These Service Terms apply to all Pawpledge bookings and form a binding agreement upon confirmation.

These terms apply whether your pet is travelling alone or accompanied by you or another passenger.

Every journey is thoughtfully designed to be calm, safe, and considered - for both pets and their owners.

The CalmRide™️ Approach

Not all pet transport is the same. Our approach focuses on:

  • Minimising stress and overstimulation

  • Gentle, considered handling

  • A safe and comfortable ride environment

Each journey may be adapted based on your pet’s needs to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Before the Journey

To ensure a smooth and safe ride, please provide accurate details:

  • Pet type, size, and temperament

  • Any medical or behavioural conditions

  • Number of pets and passengers

Pets must be fit for transport and appropriately secured (carrier, leash, or harness where required).

Pawpledge reserves the right to adjust, decline, or terminate a booking where safety, welfare, or handling risks are identified.

During the Journey

We prioritise calm handling over speed.

For safety reasons, Pawpledge may adjust handling, timing, routing, or setup at our discretion to ensure the well-being of all pets and passengers.

For solo pet transport, you acknowledge that additional risks may arise and Pawpledge shall not be responsible for incidents beyond our reasonable control.

Timing & Waiting

  • A 5-minute grace period is provided

  • Waiting time thereafter: $5 per 5 minutes

  • Extended delays may result in ride adjustment, cancellation, or the full fare being chargeable.

Additional Charges

Where applicable:

  • On-road charges (ERP, entry, parking) are passed through at cost

  • Cleaning (soiling or significant mess): $30

  • Damage or exceptional cleaning will be assessed and charged accordingly

Care, Risk & Responsibility

While every reasonable care is taken, pet transport involves inherent and unpredictable risks, including stress, motion sensitivity, escape, injury, or sudden behavioural reactions.

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your pet is fit for transport and suitable for travel

  • You have disclosed all relevant medical and behavioural conditions

  • Pawpledge shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or incident arising during transport, except where directly caused by proven negligence

  • Responsibility for your pet remains with you before, during, and after the journey

Owner Representations

You confirm that all relevant medical and behavioural conditions have been disclosed and that your pet does not pose a risk unless previously communicated.

Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge that pet transport carries inherent risks that cannot be fully eliminated.

By proceeding with the booking, you accept these risks in full.

Delays & External Factors

Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or third-party factors.

Pawpledge will communicate and minimise disruption where possible but shall not be liable for such delays.

Media Consent

By using our services, you grant Pawpledge the right to capture and use photos or videos of your pet, and you (if present), for marketing and communication purposes.

Agreement & Acceptance

By confirming your booking via WhatsApp, message, form, or any other channel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Service Terms.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Pawpledge.
